Watch the comprehensive highlights from City’s superb 3-1 Barclays Women’s Super League win over Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium.

Gareth Taylor‘s side put on a memorable display in front of over 40,000 fans at the Etihad Stadium to move top of the WSL table for at least 24 hours.

After a cagey opening, City took the lead when Jess Park - our standout player - ghosted in to volley home Leila Ouahabi‘s cross.

The midfielder doubled her tally on the stroke of half-time when she tapped Alanna Kennedy‘s knockdown in from close-range after a well-worked corner routine.

And the hosts were in dreamland just 30 seconds after the restart when Park fed Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw in behind for City’s third.

It was the Jamaican’s 68th goal for the Club, seeing her become our record goalscorer in the process.

United pulled one back with 15 to play when Hannah Blundell’s cross was deflected into the net by Kerstin Casparij, but City held on to claim a third Manchester derby win of the season.

In the process, we also extended our winning run in the WSL to a remarkable 11 matches, a sequence which began back in November away to United.
