Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw has described the City fans as 'incredible' following our 4-0 triumph against Leicester City.

The Jamaican grabbed a brace in what was a comfortable victory at the Academy Stadium, as Gareth Taylor‘s side picked up our first points of the campaign.

It means Shaw’s personal tally now stands at an impressive five goals in as many matches so far this season.

Cheered on by a vocal crowd of over 2,500, the forward explained the impact that the City fans had in helping the team over the line.

She said: “It’s important, they’re our 12th man on the pitch.

“They help us to keep going when times get tough. Today they were incredible.

“It was a good result, our first game at home in front of the fans, obviously we wanted to bounce back from the two defeats.

“We just wanted to come out here, show our quality and execute at the end of the pitch and that’s what we did.”
