Greenwood: I'd love for City to experience UWCL success

Alex Greenwood says she would "love more than anything" for City to lift the Champions League trophy.

The left-back, who earned her first winners' medal last season with seven-time winners Lyon, is about to embark on a new European adventure with her new Club.

City kick off our 2020/21 competition with a two-legged Round of 32 trip to Göteborg FC on Wednesday, before welcoming the Swedish Champions back to Manchester a week later.

Ahead of the clash, CityTV caught up with Greenwood and Janine Beckie, who netted four goals in the Round of 32 stage last season, including a hat-trick against Lugano in the home leg.

Having tasted European success, Greenwood says she would love to repeat the feat in her home country, helping an English club to European glory.

The pair also share their thoughts on Damallsvenskan Champions Göteborg.
