The Swedish international joins the Club off the back of a hugely successful few months, in which she helped guide former club BK Hacken to a maiden league title before claiming silver at this summer’s Olympic games.
The midfielder, who was also named the Damallsvenskan’s most valuable player in 2017, will be a familiar face to Gareth Taylor’s side having faced City in last season’s Champions League Round of 32.
But despite all that she has already achieved in her young career, the 24-year-old hopes that a move to City will take her game to the next level.
“Manchester City is an amazing club, with good facilities and opportunities to be a better football player,” Angeldahl beamed in her first interview as a Manchester City player.
“I believe that Gareth (Taylor) and the staff will help me improve many aspects of my game. Which is why I’m so happy to be here.
“I feel that I want to take the next step in my career, and I think that City is the best choice for me.
“I always want to win and that’s also a reason why I chose City! I believe that City is a team that can win a lot of titles. I’m very excited, I can’t wait to start working with the team.”
