Demi Stokes became only the third women's player to make 200 City appearances in November 2023.

The defender reached the milestone when she came off the bench in our 2-2 Continental Cup draw with Leicester.

It means she joins the esteemed company of Steph Houghton and Keira Walsh, who are the only other two players to become double centurions since our professional relaunch in 2014.

Joining the Club in January 2015, Stokes has gone on two win seven major honours at the Joie Stadium, and has twice been named in the WSL Team of the Season.

While she still has plenty to offer on the pitch, Stokes’ reputation as a legendary figure at City has already been cemented.

A key figure both on and off the field during her time at City so far, she discusses how she’s developed into an important leader for Gareth Taylor’s side.

She also goes on to talk about the exciting future of this squad, and what she hopes to achieve moving forward across 2023/24.
