A youthful City, featuring six teenagers, signed off the International Champions Cup campaign with a superb comeback victory in Miami, as Bernardo Silva came off the bench to bag a brace to seal a fine victory over the German side.
The Bundlesliga outfit had stormed into a two-goal lead thanks to efforts from Meritan Shabani and Arjen Robben.
However, Pep Guardiola's men showed our character along with our class to come from behind and overhaul Niko Kovac’s side, courtesy of Bernardo's two fantastic finishes and Lukas Nmecha's first senior goal.
Once again, a City team mixed with youth and experience produced a very impressive display, showcasing some beautiful football in parts, creating chance after chance, and a calmness beyond their years to claw us back into the contest.
