Watch: All 46 passes leading to Foden's incredible goal

Phil Foden's seventh minute strike against Nottingham Forest on Saturday came at the end of a 46-pass City move.

That made it City’s longest passing sequence leading to a goal in the Premier League since records began in 2006.

It's the second longest on record overall behind Nacer Chadli’s goal for Tottenham against QPR in August 2014 (48 passes).

City 2-0 Forest | Extended highlights

Starting with Ruben Dias winning the ball back and Rodrigo picking up the loose ball, the first pass comes when the midfielder plays it back to Manuel Akanji.

From there, we move Forest from side to side with every single player involved at some point.

It's Rodrigo that eventually spots the opening, clipping a beautiful ball in behind for Kyle Walker.

The England full-back cushions his lay off into Foden's path, where our Academy graduate steps on to it to fire home.

A beautiful team goal!
