Guardiola: I would not change any player in the City squad

Pep Guardiola says he would not change any member of the City squad for anyone.

The Premier League leaders earned a 16th successive win in all competitions with Saturday's superb 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium.

Rampant upfront, dominant in midfield and solid at the back, every single member of the team produced an influential contribution; Ederson even produced his second league assist!

While Guardiola admitted his side lack a specific 'match-winner', the boss asserts he is more than happy with the players at his disposal - and their level of performance.

"I will be honest, I would love to have a player who scores every game!" he said with a smile, "but I would not change any player we have now.

"Look at our captain Fernandinho and how he helped us stick together in bad moments.

"We had bad moments - we were 12th. That means we have been consistent in how we have turned this situation around.

"It may not be enough to win the titles but what we have done in the last months belongs to us."
