Pep Guardiola insists there’s a ‘really, really high’ mood in camp after our history-making Premier League triumph but adds there will still be ‘butterflies’ as we get set for the FA Cup final.

It’s been a buoyant CFA this past week after we secured Four-in-a-Row, adding the 2023/24 crown to our successes in 2022/23, 2021/22 and 2020/21.

Now we got in search of back-to-back League and Cup doubles as we face Manchester United in the showpiece at Wembley on Saturday, kick-off 15:00 (UK).

The boss says his players are ready for the derby challenge, with the usual nerves kicking in before the game.

“I think we have arrived in good mood,” the manager told journalists in his pre-match press conference.

“We have trained really well these last two or three days. We will see.

“I had the feeling we will travel and arrive with the intention to still be there.

“We are not disconnected already after the Premier League. I had the feeling that still we are there.

“I cannot deny that the mood in the offices is really, really high, it’s really, really good.

“People laugh a lot. But in the moments of work, they are so focused. That’s normal.

“I like my players celebrate the fact that we won the Premier League.

“But I am pretty sure that tomorrow we will have the butterflies and thinking what are they going to do, what can we do, all the questions you have before a game, it’s going to happen.”
