After another hectic month for both the men and women teams, we have managed to make a shortlist of eight fantastic goals for April's Goal of the Month competition.

Pep Guardiola‘s side won six, drew one and lost one in an action-packed April.

A staggering 24 goals were scored across the Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League.

For Gareth Taylor‘s City team, just the two league games were played but that didn’t stop them from bagging nine goals which could all prove key in the fight for the Barclays Women’s Super League title.

So from 33 goals, we’ve picked eight super strikes from April for you to cast your vote on!

First up is Phil Foden‘s sublime effort in our win over Aston Villa. Even while falling, a hit doesn’t get much sweeter than that!

Kevin De Bruyne features twice on this list and you can vote for either his curling shot against Crystal Palace or his diving header in our triumph at Brighton.

A fan of half volleys? Then Mateo Kovacic‘s goal against Luton is the one for you. Staying with the Luton game, Jeremy Doku‘s solo goal is also included in the shortlist.

Bernardo Silva’s all-important goal at Wembley to see us beat Chelsea in the semi-final of the FA Cup had to be on the list.

There is nothing better than scoring your first goal for the Club. Leila Ouahabi bagged hers in our 5-0 home win over West Ham.

And to complete the shortlist, is Mary Fowler‘s long-ranged strike to help City beat Bristol 4-0 your favourite on the list?
