Don’t miss our brief highlights package from a quite memorable 3-2 victory at Newcastle United.

It was an enthralling game of Premier League football, with the touchpaper lit on 26 minutes courtesy of a wonderful opener from Bernardo Silva, the playmaker producing a brilliant backheel finish.

City were mesmerising in the first half and should have gone further ahead but the hosts clawed their way back into the contest courtesy of a fine finish from Alexander Isak on 35 minutes and moments later, they were ahead thanks a similar effort from Anthony Gordon.

What we know from a Pep Guardiola team is they simply don’t know when they’re beaten and so it proved in an equally entertaining second period on Tyneside.

Kevin De Bruyne made a return to the top-flight on 69 minutes – and scored the leveller five minutes after coming on, finishing deliciously with a right-foot shot on the move.

KDB, so often the architect of memorable moments in blue, was at it again as he played in fellow sub Oscar Bobb in injury time, the talented starlet forward making no mistake with a classy finish under the severest of pressure.
