At the time, Pep Guardiola hailed the performance the best of his tenure, as we made a barnstorming start to our Centurions campaign.

On target against the Potters where Fernandinho, Leroy Sane, Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus, who grabbed a brace, but despite not registering in the goal glut, it was Kevin De Bruyne’s star who shone brightest.

The Belgian claimed two assists on a day in which his range of passing was simply mesmerising.
