City’s 2022/23 FA Cup campaign will never be forgotten.

As Pep Guardiola’s relentless pursuit of the Treble gained white hot momentum last term, we lifted the historic trophy for the seventh time in our illustrious history.

Our passage to the showpiece wasn’t straightforward, though, as we were handed a third round meeting with Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium.

And after impressively dispatching Graham Potter’s side 4-0 – the Blues were drawn out of the pot with Premier League title rivals, Arsenal.

A Nathan Ake goal was enough to secure passage into Round Five before victories over Bristol City (3-0) and Burnley (6-0) booked our place in the last-four at Wembley.

Championship high-fliers Sheffield United stood in our way of a place in the final, but a sublime Riyad Mahrez hat-trick in the April tie helped us set up a mouth-watering meeting with rivals Manchester United for the major honour.

Having sealed a third successive league crown and a place in the Champions League final ahead of the clash, City’s dream of winning the Treble was well and truly on.

Guardiola’s team then made the best possible start against Erik ten Hag’s side when Ilkay Gundogan spectacularly volleyed home after 12 seconds.

Bruno Fernandes equalised from the penalty spot, but our influential captain once again delivered on the grandest of stages when he fired home from a corner shortly after half-time.

The full-time whistle lowered the curtain on a wonderful campaign in the illustrious tournament with the 2-1 success sealing our second trophy en route to the Big Five
