Enzo Maresca addressed the media on Sunday after City’s 3-1 win in their final pre-season fixture against Atletico Madrid.
Jorge Dominguez had put our opponents ahead before the break but a brace from Omar Marmoush – set up by inspired winger Antoine Semenyo – and a late goal from Rayan Ait-Nouri gave the Blues the victory their performance deserved.
Italian Maresca faced the media after the game and discussed a range of topics.
He gave his considered opinion on the win, offered his general thoughts on the Asia Tour, the performance of his wingers during our stay in the Far East as well as his verdict on Omar Marmoush.

2026/27 Premier League tickets on sale soon
The first release of tickets for all Manchester City’s home Premier League fixtures will go on sale to Premium, Matchday & Junior Members on Tuesday 21 July at 10:00 (UK).
This first release provides an opportunity for Official Members to secure their ticket for any of our 19-home Premier League matches next season.
Season Ticket Members will also be able to purchase additional tickets for selected matches.
