Watch as Chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak discusses new City manager Enzo Maresca.

The Italian has returned to the Etihad Stadium on a three-year contract, keeping him at the Club until 2029.

Maresca arrives at City for his third spell, having previously led our Elite Development Squad in 2020/21 before acting as assistant coach to Pep Guardiola during our historic 2022/23 Treble-winning campaign.

Since then, he has added to his CV by winning silverware with Leicester City and Chelsea.

Now, he’ll take on the challenge of succeeding Pep Guardiola, who left the Club at the end of the 2025/26 season following 20 trophies in a glorious decade.

Speaking to Chris Bailey, the Chairman outlined Maresca’s outstanding credentials and why he is the right man for the job.
