Rodrigo scored in the third minute of stoppage time to give City a 2-1 victory and send us 11 points clear at the top of the table.
In a lively encounter at the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners started the brighter and deservedly took the lead when Bukayo Saka swept home Kieran Tierney’s pass after half an hour.
Arsenal went close to restoring their lead instantly. Nathan Ake was forced to clear off the line after a mix up between Laporte and Ederson, before Gabriel Martinelli cracked the woodwork with the goal gaping.
A minute later Gabriel was sent off for the hosts, picking up a second yellow card for a foul on Gabriel Jesus and, as City pushed for a winner against 10-men, Rodrigo popped up to spark wild celebrations.
