Coming soon: 93:20 | The ultimate Premier League finale

A new documentary telling the story of the remarkable final few weeks of the 2011/12 season will be released to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Manchester City’s maiden Premier League triumph.

A decade on from Sergio Aguero’s iconic 93:20 goal against Queens Park Rangers, the latest production from City Studios provides the definitive account of a season finale like no other, told by those who lived it.

93:20 | The ultimate Premier League finale is set for release on Friday 13 May 2022 and will be available to watch for free on mancity.com and the official app.

The documentary begins seven games before the end of that unforgettable campaign. Having led the Premier League table for much of the season, City’s form suddenly collapsed.

A 1-0 defeat to Arsenal appeared to signal the end of our title hopes, leaving us eight points adrift of leaders Manchester United with six matches remaining.

What followed was the most dramatic end to a Premier League season in history.

City won all six games to take the trophy on goal difference, with Aguero’s effort deep into injury time on the final day against QPR sealing the Club’s first league title in 44 years.

The Argentine’s strike remains an iconic moment, one which has transcended football and entered the pantheon of great sporting occasions.

Now, a new film from City Studios recounts the extraordinary final weeks of the campaign in epic detail, with contributions from the likes of Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Roberto Mancini, Vincent Kompany, Carlos Tevez, Mario Balotelli, and Aguero himself.
