Phil Foden says City were good value for the 2-1 win over Everton.

The teenage playmaker, making only his second Premier League start of the season, brought added verve and energy to the midfield in what was yet another impressive display from the youngster.

He believes anything other than three points would have been harsh after a largely dominant display by the champions.

"A few of the lads are a bit tired with so  many games so he made a few changes today," said Foden.

"We're not up to full speed just yet, but I think it's down to the amount of games we're playing."

Foden also had praise for two-goal Gabriel Jesus, adding: "He's unbelievable and still young so there is still so much more to come from him.

"He's deadly in front of goal and he always ha a smile on his face which is great to see."
