Harwood-Bellis: I didn't know how to celebrate!

Taylor Harwood-Bellis revealed how he was left unsure of how to celebrate after his maiden goal for City was subject to a lengthy VAR check before finally being confirmed.

The 17-year-old capped a fine first start at the Etihad by deflecting a John Stones effort home early in the second half.

But he and his City colleagues had to wait before referee Lee Mason finally awarded the goal after a long VAR check for a possible offside.

“I didn’t quite know how to react to scoring as I’ve not been in a game with VAR before,” Harwood-Bellis revealed.
