Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany savoured that winning Wembley feeling after lifting the Carabao Cup for a fourth time.
Kompany came on as a sub at the start of the second half in place of the injured Aymeric Laporte and played his part as the Blues secured a dramatic 4-3 win on penalties over Chelsea after the sides were locked at 0-0 after 120 minutes.
Kompany had also figured in our League Cup triumphs in 2014, 16 and 18 but told City TV the joy of winning silverware remained just as special.
“It’s a great feeling and I never take this for granted,” said the Belgian centre-half.
“So many clubs, teams and players are trying to win these trophies.
“So to be able to win that many times with City is unbelievable. Wembley is a good venue for us!”
