Pep Guardiola has explained how Manuel Pellegrini, Roberto Mancini and himself have all helped to create something special at City.
With Wednesday’s game against West Ham marking Pellegrini’s return to the Etihad since leaving, Pep has spoken about his superb mark he left on the club.
Guardiola was asked whether Pellegrini’s work had paved the way for Pep’s success at the club, our boss stated that each manager had a hand in making history over the past decade.
“All the players I have now have worked with other managers and have learnt a lot from other managers so I have benefitted from that,” Pep told the press. “Since the last decade where we have been involved with Mancini, Pellegrini and myself, plus the staff and the players, we have all created something.
“I didn’t build Manchester City, we have all created!
“Lots of incredible players and managers, everybody has done something and that’s the most we can do - to lift something or to win something and I’ve done that, like Manuel did here!”
