Nikita Parris recently became City’s leading FA Women’s Super League scorer and she shows no signs of stopping…

Last season the 24-year-old was City’s top scorer, and second highest in the league overall, bagging 18 goals across all competitions.
With seven goals under her belt already this season, the Lioness is targeting even more.
“I always said last year I wanted to score above 17 as that’s my squad number,” Parris told CityTV. “But this year I want to get into the twenties as I had such a successful season in front of goal – but I want to push on and get even more.
“I’m looking to score around the 22 or 24 goal mark. I know that’s a tough ask but you’ve got to put yourself under those pressures.”
