Pep Guardiola is pleased to see the Premier League implement a new change which will see the transfer window close before the start of the season.
The new ruling will be introduced ahead of the 2018/19 campaign and the Catalan is convinced it is a positive move.
“I am so happy with the decision the Premier League has taken,” he said before his side face Liverpool on Saturday.
“I think for the Premier League it’s a good decision.
“Because it’s important to start the season with the players who will finish. Hopefully we can fix it so all the other clubs in Europe finish at the same time.”
Meanwhile, the boss also revealed that Vincent Kompany will miss Saturday’s game due to injury, while he was unequivocal in stating that there was no chance Raheem Sterling was going to leave the Club in this summer’s transfer window.
