Ederson's superb double save at point-blank range ensured Manchester City held on to all three points in the Manchester derby.
With City leading 2-1, the Brazilian firstly denied Romelu Lukaku and recovered to keep out Juan Mata's follow up, in what was perhaps the pivotal moment of the match.
It was brilliant and brave in equal measure and fell into the 'by any means necessary' category of keeping the ball out, with the 24-year-old using his face and neck to save from the Belgian striker.
The stop quelled any chances of a United comeback and could well prove to be one of the defining moments of the season, as City saw out the game to notch a 14th consecutive Premier League win.
