The strike, masterfully dispatched by the Brazilian after latching onto a pinpoint ball over the top from Vincent Kompany, sent us on our way to a vital 3-1 away win to bring the Premier League title within touching distance.

Ilkay Gundogan doubled the lead from the penalty spot after Raheem Sterling was felled by Spurs ‘keeper Hugo Lloris, in what was a majestic opening 25 minutes from the Blues.

Christian Eriksen fortuitously pulled one back for Spurs on the stroke of half time, but Sterling put the game beyond doubt with a poacher’s finish to convert the rebound from Aymeric Laporte’s shot with 18 minutes remaining.
