With the game locked at 0-0 and City struggling to break Leicester down, Kompany unleashed a 30-yard pile-driver into the top corner. Cue delirium. 

And to celebrate, he has chosen his all-time City XI. 

With a City career spanning more than a decade, the skipper had a wonderful selection of players to choose from.

Some notable members of the team are Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta Yaya Toure and Carlos Tevez, who were all part of the FA Cup final squad in 2011 the day Kompany won his first trophy with City. 

Sergio Aguero and Gael Clichy played alongside the Belgian when he lifted his first Premier League title, and David Silva has been a central part of City's decade of success.
