In Jardim Peri, where he grew up, there are hundreds of children who dream of following in the striker’s footsteps.

In recognition of their idol, a 112-foot tall mural adorns more than a dozen houses in, depicting the forward celebrating a goal. The green, yellow and blue portrait is nearing its final touches.
