The summer transfer window has closed and CityTV take an in-depth look at the five summer additions to Pep Guardiola's squad.

The first came in the form of Bernardo Silva, who joined the Blues on a five-year contract from AS Monaco off the back of an impressive campaign in 2016/17.

The 23-year old shone for the Ligue 1 side as they racked up 103 goals on their way to their eighth league title.

Ederson officially joined the Club on 1 July alongside Bernardo, moving to Manchester on a six-year deal from Benfica after winning five trophies in two seasons.

The Brazilian shot stopper, known for his reflexes and distribution, received plaudits from all around Europe for his displays, including his spectacular performance in the 1-0 Champions Leauge last-16 victory against Dortmund.

Kyle Walker became the third signing of the summer when he completed his move from Spurs just before the team embarked on their US tour.

The full back arrived at the Etihad Stadium on a five-year deal after helping the North London club to a second-place finish in the Premier League last season.

Up next was Danilo, who sealed a move from Real Madrid after two seasons with the Spanish side.

In his 55 appearances for Los Blancos, he had an impressive return with him winning one La Liga title, two Champions Leagues, a UEFA Super Cup and a FIFA Club World Cup.

Benjamin Mendy was the final addition of the summer transfer window as he became the second player to join City from AS Monaco after Bernardo.
