The England winger made 33 Premier League appearances for Manchester City, scoring seven goals and registering eight assists.
His improvement under Pep Guardiola was clear. He looked more confident in his ability to beat players and more likely to make goals for his teammates.
He created 46 chances in Premier League games and had a pass completion rate of 80 per cent.
