In his debut in the prestigious competition, Miles played the entirety of City’s 5-1 triumph over Millwall.
Stephen Mfuni put Oliver Reiss’s side ahead inside the opening 10 minutes before Abdulahi Abdulazeez converted from the penalty spot.
But Miles restored City’s lead on the brink of half-time with a fantastic volley which took a favourable deflection while flying towards the Millwall goal.

And it was the catalyst City needed as we went on the win the match comfortably with Ryan McAidoo, Matty Warhurst and Divine Mukasa adding their names to the scoresheet before the final whistle.
After the match, 16-year-old Miles reflected on his goalscoring moment.
“I’m buzzing, it’s great to be through the next round,” began Miles.
“It was my goal! Instinct, hit it first time, hit it at the goal and just see what happens.
“I’m really enjoying it [being at City], trying to learn every day, taking it day by day, week by week and improving and trying to get into the team regularly.”
