City Careers
City Careers is a free programme which aims to help young people aged 16-25 into employment, education or training
With both physical and mental well-being at the core of City Careers, our participants have the opportunity to holistically develop and upskill their employability and interpersonal skills.
Over the duration of the course, participants work with CITC officers, staff and external partners, on a series of employment workshops, with a focus on developing soft employability skills such as CV and cover letter writing, interview practice and how to approach job applications.
There is also the opportunity to gain qualifications, such as:
FA Playmaker Qualification
Level 2 Community Sports Leadership Qualification
City in the Community are always looking to create new partnerships to support our participants. If you are a business who can offer apprenticeships, part time/full time roles, volunteering/placement opportunities or even time to speak with our young people about your journey, please contact Oliver Murphy at [email protected] or Lucy Herring at [email protected].
You can also contact Oliver or Lucy if you would like to attend a session or if you require more information about our City Careers programme.
City Careers is supported by Clean Event Services, click here to find out more about the organisation.
