Travelling by Bus

Travelling by Bus

A Stagecoach double-decker bus marked 'Matchday Bus MC1' with a Manchester City logo is seen navigating a residential street. There are people around the bus, including a visibly blurred individual and two in fluorescent jackets guiding the bus.

Travelling by bus is a great way to access the Etihad Campus. Not only does it allow you to travel with a large group of family and friends, but it is also more sustainable than driving on your own.

Matchday Bus Network

In total, the bus network sees 15 different routes (20 for weekend fixtures) operating across 83 stops, covering a combined total of more than 370 miles for Manchester City fans only.

These routes have been carefully selected following a detailed analysis of fan data which identified areas with limited existing travel options, or those with a dense population of Season Ticket Members.

Detailed information about the stops can be found on TfGM’s website, but below is a map outlining the different routes:

All of the buses in use are fully accessible for wheelchair users and have low floors to make it easier for fans who use wheelchairs, mobility scooters or those with small children and pushchairs.

Adults will pay £6 for a return ticket from Zone 1, and £8 for a return from Zone 2. Single tickets cost £3 and £4 respectively.

Under-16 tickets are priced at half of an adult ticket, while children under the age of five can now travel for free.

Older people and those with disabilities will be eligible to travel for free, provided they are in possession of a National Concessionary Travel Pass.

Tickets cannot be pre-booked, meaning they must be purchased on the bus via card or cash payments.

For more information, visit Transport for Greater Manchester’s dedicated webpage.
