Football Programs built around development

Play Beautiful Football

Our Summer Programs bring the Club’s coaching philosophy to young players. We deliver structured, age appropriate training that supports long term development, helping players build technique, game understanding and confidence, regardless of the stage of development, while keeping enjoyment at the heart of every session.

What makes our programs different?

Authentic Manchester City Coaches

Our sessions are delivered by authentic, qualified Manchester City coaches.

Families can expect clear session structure, strong standards and a positive learning environment.

One methodology, applied consistently

Everything we do is built on the coaching methodology developed at the City Football Academy.

Sessions are progressive and game realistic, designed to help players improve decision making, confidence and understanding of the game.

Helping players learn to play Beautiful Football

We coach the principles that support playing Beautiful Football, with practices that develop decision making, creativity and team habits alongside core technical skills. Players learn through play, in realistic situations that encourage  smart choices and development on and off the pitch.

Developing both better players and people

We coach football first, and we also recognise what young people gain from being in a strong learning environment, confidence, teamwork, respect and positive behaviours that carry beyond the pitch.

Sessions are safe and inclusive, with wellbeing and safeguarding at the centre of how Programs are delivered.

SafeAtCity: Our safeguarding-first approach

All our programs incorporate our SafeAtCity commitment to ensure that “Everyone, everywhere, feels SafeAtCity. Always.” This commitment means that the promotion and protection of everyone’s rights, safety, dignity and wellbeing is at the heart of every activity. Where there is a potential that these are impacted, we will work quickly to address any concerns that are reported to us.
