Choosing a programme
What programmes are available for Summer 2027, and how do they differ?
Which programme is right for my child?
Man City CORE: Best suited to players looking for a rounded Manchester City experience that brings together football development, CFA immersion, learning and residential life.
Man City ENGLISH: Best suited to international players who want to combine Manchester City football development with English language learning and an immersive UK summer experience.
Man City PRO: Best suited to motivated players looking for a more individualised and performance-focused football development experience.
Man City PRO MAX: Best suited to motivated players looking for a more individualised, performance-focused programme with the added experience of premium accommodation at the heart of the Etihad Campus.
What ages can attend, and how are participants grouped?
All programmes are open to 9-17 year olds. Participants will be grouped by their age and ability in their respective programme.
Can I book for one week or multiple weeks?
We have one and two-week courses available to book on to. If you wish to combine a two-week course with a one-week course, this is also an option. Therefore, the maximum stay is three-weeks.
Are specialist goalkeeper sessions available?
We do not have a dedicated goal keeper programme, However, goalkeeper sessions will be available as an additional option. Details and availability will be released soon.
Will participants have opportunities to meet Manchester City players or staff?
Guest appearances may happen, but cannot be guaranteed. The programme will include opportunities to learn from people connected with football and the club.
Dates and daily schedule
When does the programme run, and what does a typical day include?
What weekend activities and visits are included?
Weekend excursions will be take place for residential participants on two-week programmes. More details around specific excursion will be confirmed before your programme starts.
Will participants visit the Etihad Stadium or City Football Academy?
All training sessions will take place at the City Football Academy. All programmes will visit the Etihad Stadium for their stadium tour and closing ceremony.
Accommodation and supervision
Where will residential participants stay, and what facilities are available?
Participants on the CORE, PRO and ENGLISH programme will stay in off-campus accommodation site located in the city centre. PRO MAX participants will be staying at our on-campus hotel, The Medlock.
Will my child have their own room? Can friends or siblings share?
Room arrangements will depend on the accommodation. You’ll be able to share rooming requests when booking, but these are subject to availability.
How are participants supervised, including overnight, and what safeguarding measures are in place?
Participants are supervised by our dedicated welfare team, with residential staff present overnight. Safeguarding procedures and supervision arrangements can be view in our policies.
Are visitors allowed at the residence?
Yes, but you need to make the Residential Centre Manager aware before attending the residence site.
Welfare
What meals are included, and can you cater for allergies or dietary requirements?
All residential participants are fully catered for (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Please share any allergies or dietary requirements with us in advance so we can share with the caterers prior to arrival.
How should I share information about medication, health needs or additional support?
You’ll be asked to provide this information before the programme so we can plan appropriate support. If you have any additional requirements please contact [email protected]
What happens if my child becomes ill or injured?
Staff will respond to the situation immediately, follow our first aid procedures accordingly, arrange medical assistance where appropriate and contact parents if necessary.
Travel and collection
Are airport transfers available?
Airport transfer options are available, details will be shared soon on how to book. Please contact [email protected] if you require any further information.
How does drop-off and collection work?
You will drop-off your child on the first day on their programme at the location that will be specified before your programme starts.
Collection will be either from the Etihad Stadium at the end of the closing ceremony or from the accommodation site.
What should I do if my child’s travel is delayed?
Contact the programme team as soon as possible and we will make arrangements to ensure you are welcomed once you arrive.
Can my child attend as a non-residential participant?
Yes, all programmes apart from the PRO MAX offer a non-residential option. Please see programme details for more information.

What are the payment plan options?
You can pay a 20% deposit to secure your booking. The remaining balance must then be paid by 1st May. You also have the option to pay in 3 monthly instalments or make one one-off full payment.
How will I receive updates, and who should I contact with questions or concerns?
We’ll send key information by email before the programme. Contact details for the programme team will be included in your joining information. If you have any queries about your booking please email [email protected].
