Welfare, Accommodation & Catering
Welfare
Participant welfare is central to our residential programme. Manchester City have a dedicated welfare team that will support participants during their stay and make sure they know who to speak to if they need help. We work with each accommodation site to provide a welcoming, respectful environment where participants can feel safe and supported.
Accommodation
The residency element of our summer programmes is a key part of making their experience memorable. We aim to give participants a comfortable and supportive place to stay throughout their time in Manchester, where they can settle in, share the residential experience and make friends with players from around the world.

Catering
Nutritious meals to fuel every day
A full day of football, activities and learning calls for good food. Participants will receive breakfast, lunch and dinner each day, with nutritious meals planned to help them stay energised throughout the programme and recover after an active day.
Breakfast and lunch
Breakfast and lunch will be served at the City Football Academy (CFA), where participants train and take part in programme activities. Breakfast helps them get ready for the day ahead, while lunch gives them the opportunity to refuel between sessions and activities.
Dinner
Dinner will be served at each group’s accommodation site, either the university accommodation or Medlock Hotel. After a busy day, participants can enjoy a nutritious evening meal and recharge for the next day.
Dietary requirements
We can cater for dietary requirements when full information is provided in advance. Please share any allergies, intolerances, medical dietary needs or religious requirements before the programme so we can inform the catering team and make the appropriate arrangements.
