New: Development Squads

We are proud to announce the launch of new Man City Development Squads.

Starting in August 2026, this new recreational programme will give boys and girls aged 8 to 16 the chance to train each week with City coaches and play regular competitive fixtures at weekends.

Squads will be based in Sale, Oldham and Bolton, giving families across Greater Manchester access to high-quality football coaching closer to home.

The programme is separate from Manchester City’s Academy and is designed to give young players a trusted environment to enjoy their football, improve their game and experience regular coaching and competitive football.

Open sessions will take place in July for families interested in finding out more before the programme begins in August.
