New: Development Squads

Welcome to our new Development Squad Players

We are proud to announce the launch of new Man City Development Squads.

Starting in September 2026, this new recreational programme gives boys and girls aged 8 to 16 the chance to train each week with City coaches and play regular competitive fixtures at weekends.

The programme is separate from Manchester City’s Academy and is designed to give young players a trusted environment to enjoy their football, improve their game and experience regular coaching and competitive football.

Squads are now live and playing in Sale, Oldham and Bolton and we were delighted to welcome players and parents to the City Football Academy recently to receive their kits and meet their coaching teams.
