Players train in a professional, supportive environment where development comes first. Every player is known, coached and challenged to improve, with a clear curriculum designed to build skill, confidence, decision-making and game understanding.
Connected to Manchester City’s global coaching network, the program gives young players in Dallas access to consistent coaching standards and a structured approach to development.

Our philosophy
Training prioritises technical quality, intelligent decision-making, and understanding how to play the game, supported by an environment that is enjoyable, inclusive, and demanding in the right ways. Winning matters, but development matters more.
Every player’s journey is different. Our role is to support progress at the right pace, build confidence, and help young people in Dallas develop habits that serve them both on and off the pitch.
Coaching and leadership
Manchester City North Texas FC is led by an experienced technical team with direct links to global Manchester City Football Programs. Andy Smith, Manchester City Director of Methodology, provides strategic oversight to ensure coaching quality and consistency. Locally, the program is led by Tom Paul (pictured) our Director of Coaching and Diego Zaltron, Director of Youth Programs.
Together, they ensure every session reflects Manchester City standards, safeguarding expectations, and a clear focus on long-term player development.
The training environment
We coach the principles that support playing beautiful football, with practices that develop decision making, creativity and team habits alongside core technical skills. Players learn through play, in realistic situations that encourage smart choices and development on and off the pitch.
Opportunities and experiences
Man City North Texas FC will offer a connected pathway of programs designed to support different ages, abilities, and ambitions.
From a Football School and open training experiences, through to competitive and elite teams, each stage is linked by a consistent coaching approach and clear progression.
By joining a Man City program, young players will have incredible opportunities for team experiences, to play in international tournaments and international residential experiences. This will include exciting opportunities to stay in Manchester and train at the City Football Academy.
Players can join from other clubs or progress internally, with development supported at every level.
Ambition and the desire to learn and improve will be nurtured and help our young players grow and develop.
