It will be City’s sixth League Cup final appearance and the first against Arsenal, who beat Chelsea in the last four.
When and where
Wembley Stadium will host the 57th instalment of the League Cup final, which kicks off at 4.30pm on Sunday 25 January.
Our Premier League game at Arsenal has been moved to accommodate the cup fixture and that match will now take place on Thursday 1 March.
Kick-off and TV listings
The game gets underway at 4.30pm. In the UK, it will be shown live on Sky Sports and there are several other ways in which you can follow the action as it happens.

Referee
Craig Pawson will be the man in the middle, assisted by linesmen Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn, and fourth official Graham Scott.
VAR will be used for the first time in an English cup final with Neil Swarbrick chosen as Video Assistant Referee with Peter Kirkup as his back-up.

Team news
The Brazilian striker has been out since New Year’s Eve after he suffered medial collateral ligament damage in the draw at Crystal Palace but returned to training earlier this week.
Pep Guardiola says he will be assessed on Saturday before deciding on his involvement but believes his return from injury a huge boost to City’s season.
Meanwhile, Monday’s defeat to Wigan and remains troubled by the problem.
Fabian Delph is suspended after his red card against the Latics, while long-term injury victim Benjamin Mendy remains sidelined.
For Arsenal, striker Alexandre Lacazette will miss out, while Mesut Ozil (illness) and Aaron Ramsey (groin) face late fitness tests, having missed out on Thursday’s Europa League visit of Ostersunds.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan is cup-tied, while David Ospina will play in goal in place of Petr Cech.

Route to the final
City overcame West Brom, Wolves and Leicester before beating Bristol City 5-3 over two legs in the semi-final.
The Gunners beat Doncaster Rovers and Norwich City in the third and fourth round respectively. A 1-0 victory over West Ham followed before they beat Chelsea 2-1 on aggregate in the semi-final.
League Cup record against Arsenal
The North Londoners have the edge in this competition, winning five of our eight contests. Recent history is one our side though, with City winning the last two encounters in 2009 and 2011.

Last time
A late strike from Sergio Aguero gave City a first win at Arsenal for 36 years and with it a place in the semi-finals of the 2011 campaign.
Previous final appearance
Our last appearance in the showpiece game came two years ago, when Willy Caballero’s penalty shoot-out heroics saw us lift the trophy at the expense of Liverpool.
Fernandinho put the Blues ahead early in the second half, before Phillipe Coutinho’s late equaliser sent the game to extra-time.
With the two sides unable to find a breakthrough the Argentine ‘keeper made three saves in the shoot-out to ensure the trophy headed back to Manchester.
