In all competitions
City have played 17 games in all competitions this season, winning 16 and drawing one.
City’s haul of 52 goals in all competitions is a record for a Premier League Club after 17 games.
The win against Arsenal was City’s 15th in succession, a new record for an English side.
It ensured the club overtook the previous best run of straight wins for an English Club (14) which City had shared with Preston and George Graham’s Arsenal.
In a run stretching back into last season, City are currently on a 23-game unbeaten run, which, again, is a Club record.
In the Premier League
City are eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table after 11 matches, having won 10 and drawn one.
City’s 31 points and +31 goal difference is the best start to a Premier League season after 11 games.
City have won nine consecutive league matches, equalling the Club record for a single season set back in 1947 when the Club were playing in the second tier.
David Silva has seven assists in 11 Premier League appearances this term, as many as he did in the whole of 2016/17 (34 apps). His assist against Arsenal was his 5th in his last seven Premier League appearances and his 71st since joining City in 2010.
Sergio Aguero’s penalty against Arsenal was his 179th City goal. His 178th against Napoli saw him overtake Eric Brook and become the Club’s all-time leading scorer.
He now has 130 Premier League goals. Since his debut against Swansea in August 2011, no one has scored more than the Argentine.

Aguero has had a hand in 10 goals in his last five Premier League games (seven goals, three assists).
Gabriel Jesus’ Premier League record continues to impress. So far he’s made 20 appearances in the competitions, scoring 14 goals and assisting five. That’s a goal or an assists every 65 minutes.
Jesus’ rate of a goal every 89.6 minutes in the Premier League is the best record of any player to score more than 10 goals in the competition.
