Manchester City’s 4-0 victory over Bournemouth means we have gone through 2017 unbeaten at home in all competitions.

In the 26 matches we’ve played at the Etihad this year, City have won 21 and drawn 5, scoring 71 and conceding 20.

The sequence began with a 2-1 win against Burnley, with other notable victories over Monaco (5-3), Liverpool (5-0), Stoke (7-2), Arsenal (3-1) and Tottenham (4-1) along the way.

City are now 14 points clear of second-placed Manchester United, who play Leicester City on Saturday evening.

The result against Bournemouth also means City have scored 100 Premier League goals this calendar year.

No top-flight English side has managed that since Liverpool bagged 106 in 1982.

Everyone at City would like to congratulate Pep Guardiola and the players on more outstanding achievements.
