The Etihad Campus has a number of spaces available. These are issued on a first come first served basis on non- matchdays. We ask that you display your blue badge clearly on your dash board. 

Public Transport
Manchester has a magnificent and fully accessible public transport system, the 'bee network', making it quick and easy to get to and from the Etihad Campus. To plan your visit using public transport please visit https://tfgm.com/plan-a-journey.

  • Park and Ride: There is a number of park and ride stops around Greater Manchester making it efficient to get to the Etihad Campus.
  • Metrolink: The Etihad Campus has its own fully accessible Metrolink station with regular services heading to the city centre and Ashton-Under -Lyne.  
  • Bus Services: The Etihad campus is accessible via bus with direct routes from Ashton-Under -Lyne and Piccadilly Gardens (Manchester City Centre). There are 17 matchday bus services running from around Greater Manchester: https://tfgm.com/man-city/bus-network.
  • Rail/Train: Both Manchester Piccadilly and Victoria have a direct Metrolink service to the Etihad Campus.  

For payment, we can accept debit or credit cards on the telephone or via BACS transfer.  Please bear in mind that should your booking be made at short notice the BACS payment may not reach us in time for your tour.  We normally ask for payment 14 days in advance of your tour.

Yes, once booking is confirmed, we will send you a copy of this upon request.

We are either fully booked for Stadium Tours on that date or due to the Etihad Stadium being a working facility, tours do not operate on some event days.

Our stadium tour is fully inclusive with an accessible route and toilets, if required. We also have quieter spaces for autistic pupils. Please speak with a member of the education team regarding any special arrangements you may require and they will be happy to accommodate.

There is no luggage storage facility at the stadium on a non-matchday.

Backpacks, holdalls, rucksacks, or other similar items of any size, large or small, will not be allowed into the stadium. Small handheld bags, no larger than A4 size (12”x8”x3”) will be accepted.

Matchday Bag Storage facilities: £5 for Season Ticket Holders and £10 for everyone else.

Yes, you can bring buggies and prams as we have lifts between all floors of the Stadium.

Attendees aged 0-4 years can attend tours, free of charge.?

Ordinarily, you are not allowed to bring outside food into the stadium, however, there might be occasions where we make exceptions, for instance during Ramadan when supporters might need breakfast or if you have a medical exemption, please get in touch with Fan Support on +44 (0)161 444 1894 should you require any further information.

From Friday 19th April 2024, The Manchester City Stadium Tour will commence from M-Gate at the Etihad Stadium. M-Gate is located in The South Stand, facing Grey Car Park. Guests who have pre-booked onto the Stadium Tour can head straight to the new start point at M-Gate where you will be checked in for your Tour. "

We have a small café in Joe’s West, where you can spend time before your tour begins. The café sells a selection of drinks, sandwiches and cakes. You cannot bring your own food and drink into the stadium.

Our tours are capped at a capacity of 35, including staff. If you bring groups larger than this, we will split them down into groups of up to 35 with staggered entry to the stadium, repeating workshops as required.

We advise that all groups endeavour to complete the pre-work supplied to them prior to attending the Manchester City Tour (except for Urban Regeneration, which does not have any pre-work). Completing it is not essential but allows you to get the most from your visit. If you have any problems accessing the pre-work, please contact [email protected].

You will check-in for your tour at Joe’s West. A member of our education team will prepare lanyards for all of your group, as these will act as accreditation for the tour. You will then be able to wait in Joe’s West until your tour starts, as advised by the education team. Please note that Joe’s West is a shared space between the educational tours and public tours.

We kindly ask that any bags, which are brought onto the tour, are open for a security check at this point. You will then be taken up to Joe’s West, where the check-in desk will be, and you will be greeted by a member of our education team.

Unless instructed otherwise, photography is permitted within the Etihad Stadium. Your tour guides will also provide a couple of group photo opportunities for school newsletters and magazines!

The City Store, where the Tours office is based, is open 7-days a week (9:30 am-6:30 pm, weekdays and Saturdays, 10-4 pm on Sundays – match days vary) and sells a wide range of Manchester City merchandise including shirts, souvenirs, and training kit. The shop accepts cards and cash, with a preference for card payments where possible.
