The Best FIFA Football Awards 2023 are being held this evening in London with a host of City stars in the running for prestigious honours.

The 11 awards below will be presented at the ceremony, which starts at 19:30 (UK time).
Three finalists have been selected by an international jury comprising of four groups: national team coaches, national team captains, specialist journalists, and fans who voted on FIFA’s official website. Over one million fan votes were recorded worldwide.
Erling Haaland is in the running for The Best FIFA Men’s Player, Pep Guardiola is up for The Best FIFA Men’s Coach while Ederson is aiming to be crowned The Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper.
We have eight players hoping to be named in the FIFA FIFPRO Men’s World 11 – Ederson, Ruben Dias, John Stones, Kyle Walker, Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland, along with our former captain Ilkay Gundogan who is a finalist thanks to his exploits in our Treble-winning campaign.
Meanwhile, classy defender Alex Greenwood is in the running for a spot in the FIFA FIFPRO Women’s World 11.
The period in which achievements are considered for the men’s awards is from 19 December 2022 to 20 August 2023 - so excluding the 2022 World Cup - while for women’s awards it is the period from 1 August 2022 to 20 August 2023.
