Aaron Nemane

Aaron Nemane has been excelling up the age groups in a City shirt since the tender age of 14, when he made his U18s debut and marked the occasion by scoring a brace.

He has continued the tradition of bamboozling much older defences, making his U21 bow at the age of 16.

Aaron forced his way into a very competitive UEFA Youth League squad under Patrick Vieira, and was one of the standout talents during the run to the 2015 FA Youth Cup final, scoring three times and playing in every single match.

The winger has long since been adept at proving that quick thinking and fleetness of foot can cancel out an apparent advantage in size, and his forays down the left or right have been vital to City’s youth sides in threatening the opposition defence – particularly due to his accurate crosses.

Born in France, he grew up in Manchester and was quickly spotted by City – he celebrated blowing out his 11th birthday candles by coming on trial on the same day, and he has been educated in the City style ever since.

Aaron signed his first professional contract with the club in July 2015 and was promoted to the EDS full time ahead of the 2015/16 campaign and he went on to make a number of appearances for Simon Davies's side.

His highlight of the season will surely have been his sublime goal against Chelsea in the FA Youth Cup final which was shortlisted for Nissan Goal of the Season.

He made 13 appearances in the 2016/17 Premier League 2 and joined Rangers on five-month loan deal in August 2017.

Aaron will spend the 2018/19 season on loan with AFC Tubize in Belgium.
