Goalkeeper Alex Brooks signed her first professional contract with Manchester City Women in February 2015.
Having joined the Blues at the age of eight, the youngster was delighted to put pen to paper on a senior deal, telling the official website she still has to pinch herself to believe just how far she's come.
The Wythenshawe-born shot-stopper has witnessed first-hand the dramatic transformation the club has undergone in recent years and is looking forward to spending more successful seasons with Nick Cushing's side.
She made her debut for the FA Women's Super League newcomers in the 2014 Continental Cup-winning campaign, producing an excellent display to thwart league leaders Chelsea in a hard-earned 2-1 win.
Currently training as an understudy to Karen Bardsley, Brooks acknowledges her own improvement over the last 12 months and hopes to progress further to become the very best in the future.
Around her training, she also coaches for City in the Community part-time.
