Michael has progressed through City’s Academy having initially joined from Bolton Wanderers aged 10.
Okeke is a player who catches people’s attention with his ability to dribble through midfield and his hard work was rewarded in 2022 when he signed a scholarship.
Throughout the 2022/23 season, Okeke brought his dynamism to the Under-18s squad as he made 22 appearance across the Under-18 Premier League North and FA Youth Cup.
In the 2023/24 campaign, Michael totalled 23 appearances across the Under-18s and EDS. With his season hindered slightly by injury, Okeke managed to return for the FA Youth Cup final where he got an assist in our 4-0 triumph over Leeds United at the Etihad.
For the 2024/25 season, Okeke will be looking to have a similar impact on the pitch.
