Kayky

Bio

Exciting Brazilian forward Kayky made the move to City from Fluminense in April 2021, signing a five-year deal with the Club.

A left-footed winger, Kayky joined Fluminense at Under-9 level and made his debut for the side at the age of 17.

Capable of playing off either flank, he went on to score three goals in 32 appearances for the Rio de Janeiro giants and became their youngest ever debutant and youngest goalscorer in the Copa Libertadores.

After joining City, he made his Elite Development Squad bow in our EFL Trophy clash away at Rotherham in September 2021.

All told, he went on to play 17 times for our Under-23s in 2021/22, including 13 appearances in our title-winning PL2 campaign where he scored six goals and provided four assists.

A  memorable season also saw the 19-year-old make his senior debut from the bench in our 4-1 FA Cup third round win at Swindon in January.

And he was then subsequently afforded his Premier League bow, again coming on as a substitute, in our 4-0 win at Norwich in February.

The Brazilian winger spent the first half of the current European campaign on loan with Portuguese side Pacos de Ferreira.

Kayky  joined Bahia on loan for the entirety of the 2023 season in Brazil.

And he will now spend the 2024/25 season on loan with Dutch side Sparta Rotterdam.
