Skilful, dynamic forward
Having first registered with Manchester City Academy aged eight, Justin rose through the Academy ranks and signed as a scholar in July 2022 to continue his journey in sky blue.
Deadly in front of goal coupled with outstanding trickery in tight areas are just two aspects that characterise Justin’s game.
Oboavwoduo moved to the Under-18s squad for the 2022/23 season and went on to score an impressive 23 goals in 31 appearances.
He underlined his ability and promise with a hat-trick against Fleetwood Town in the FA Youth Cup as his performances went from strength to strength.
Oboavwoduo spent the 2023/24 season playing across both the Under-18s and EDS. He travelled and featured on the bench in City’s Club World Cup triumph win in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
He went on to make 30 appearances with 12 goal involvements, including a goal at the Etihad in City’s 4-0 FA Youth Cup final win over Leeds United, to top off another fantastic season.
The 2024/25 campaign will see him compete in the Premier League 2 as a member of Ben Wilkinson‘s EDS squad.
