Bio
Electric winger
Joel joined the Club in 2017 and progressed to the Under-18s as the youngest member of the squad in 2021/22.
A skilful winger always willing to take on defenders, he utilised his blistering pace to great effect during the season - playing 10 times in the Under-18 Premier League and even made his debut for the EDS.
That upward trajectory continued in 2022/23, when Ndala was crucial to our U18s’ third successive title. He totalled 16 goals in 33 appearances for the U18s and EDS.
At the end of 2023, he took that impressive form onto an international setting, starring for England at the U17 World Cup.
While the Three Lions were knocked out in the Round of 16, Ndala’s three goals and two assists in four matches meant he was one of the standout performers at the tournament.
The 2023/24 season saw Ndala continue to become a more present figure in starting XIs. He made 23 appearances across both Academy teams before travelling to the United States in the summer on the men’s pre-season tour.
He made his senior debut as a substitute against Celtic in July 2024 and will now spend the 2024/25 season on loan at PSV.
