Commanding, strong defender
Jadel has been a key-part of his age-group teams from the U9's up to his current position in the Under-18s.
A powerful central defender, Katongo featured regularly with the Under-18s in 2020/21 as the youngest member of the side, playing in key games in the title-winning campaign.
He again stepped up in 2021/22, playing 18 times as we retained the Under-18 Premier League and making his debut at EDS level.
Katongo subsequently progressed to the EDS for the 2022/23 season and made his first appearance for Pep Guardiola's side in the December friendly with Girona.
Katongo will spend the 2023/24 season on loan at Peterborough United.
