Alex moved to Manchester City, aged 18 at the time, from LA Galaxy where he progressed through their academy system.
Alcala is a creative midfielder with a keen eye for a pass.
After a debut season in blue in 2023/24 with the Under-18s, Alcala has moved up to the Elite Development Squad for the 2024/25 season as he continues his development.
